At Bellstone Residential Care Ltd we provide the care services that our residents need. We understand that each individual requires their own care plan, which is why we spend time getting to know them. The individual residents care plan provides the basis on which our care service is delivered.
Established in 1978, our retirement home is located along the seaside in the picturesque location of Felixstowe. There are plenty of calming places to visit and our home offers a welcome place to relax.

Personalised Care Plan
Each person’s plan includes a description of their preferred daily routine, their likes and dislikes in relation to food, any specific dietary requirements, and similar matters.
The care plan also contains a risk assessment and any risk management plan needed. It includes details of health care needs, medication, GP and community nursing, or other therapeutic services.
Additionally, details of resident’s social interests and activities are noted along with how these are met. We record any arrangements to attend religious services of the resident’s choice. Furthermore, we define plans for maintaining contact with relatives, friends and representatives.
End of Life Care
We always strive to make sure that dying and death is never regarded as routine. It is our belief that the quality of care a person receives in their last days is as important as the quality of life they have experienced prior to this. We are committed to maintaining and improving the quality of our service, regardless of what you need.
An important part of our approach to quality assurance is to obtain the views of our residents, their relatives and representatives, staff and visiting professionals i.e. doctors, district nurses, chiropodists etc. We do this annually by inviting them all to complete a quality assurance questionnaire which includes a section for any suggestions that they may have.
To add to this, we also operate an ‘open door’ policy to encourage anyone concerned with the home to raise any issues as they arise.
